Timothy Hennis
May 9, 1985
Hennis is charged with three counts of premeditated murder for the deaths of Kathryn Eastburn and her daughters, Erin and Kara, of Fayetteville, N.C on May 9, 1985. He was convicted and sentenced to death. A second trial was ordered, he was found not guilty and let go. Now, with DNA evidence from semen left at the scene, connecting him to the murders, he was called back into active duty on Oct. 30, 2006 to stand trial. Hennis was stationed at Fort Bragg when the murders took place.
Megan Lynn Touma
June 12, 2008
Victim
Touma, age 23, was assigned to the 19th Replacement Company at Fort Bragg. She died just days after arriving from Germany. Police found Touma's body in a Fayetteville Fairfiled Inn. She had not been heard from since June 12th.
Police say the pregnant solider was murdered.
Ervin Graves
July 10, 1993
Sgt. 1st Class Ervin Graves, 34, was found guilty in the shooting death July 10, 1993, of 2nd Lt. Lisa Bryant in their Ft. Bragg dorm. He also was convicted of felony murder, attempted rape and assault while attempting to commit rape.
Because the verdict was not unanimous, he could not receive the death penalty. He could be eligible for parole in 10 years.

Rigoberto Nieves
June 11, 2002
Fayetteville, N.C., police said Sgt. 1st Class Rigoberto Nieves — a soldier in the 3rd Special Forces Group who had been back from Afghanistan just two days — shot his wife, Teresa, and then himself in their bedroom.
Officials said Nieves had requested leave to resolve personal problems.
William Wright
June 29, 2002
Jennifer Wright was strangled June 29. Her husband, Master Sgt. William Wright of the 96th Civil Affairs Battalion, reported her missing two days later. Then on July 19, he led investigators to her body in Hoke County and was charged with murder.
Wright, who had been back from Afghanistan about a month, had moved out of his house and was living in the barracks was U.S. Army Special Operations.
Jeffrey MacDonald
February 17, 1970
During the early morning hours of Feb. 17, 1970, the wife and two children of Dr. Jeffrey MacDonald were brutally murdered in the family’s home at Fort Bragg.
The case gained national attention, leading up to the 1979 conviction of Jeffrey MacDonald, a former Army doctor with the elite Green Berets.
Brandon Floyd
July 19, 2002
Sgt. 1st Class Brandon Floyd shot his wife, Andrea, a native of Alliance, Ohio, then killed himself in their Stedman home.
The Fayetteville Observer reported Floyd was a member of Delta Force, the secretive anti-terrorism unit based at Fort Bragg. He returned from Afghanistan in January, officials said. The couple's three children were in Ohio visiting relatives at the time of the deaths.
Cedric Ramon

Army Sgt. Cedric Ramon Griffin, 28, was charged with first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder and first-degree arson in the July 9 death of his wife, Cumberland County Sheriff Moose Butler said.
Marilyn Griffin, 32, was found dead in the burning home. Her two children escaped the fire.
John Diamond

Diamond, a infantryman assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment at Fort Bragg, was charged with the murder of Air Force Capt. Marty Theer, conspiring with Theer's wife, Michelle Theer, to commit murder, adultery with Mrs. Theer, obstruction of justice and illegally transporting and storing a privately owned weapon in violation of a lawful General Order.

Malcolm Wright Jr. and James N. Burmeister, both White men who are with the 82nd Airborne Division, were each charged with two counts of first-degree murder, said police. The two Blacks victims were Michael James and Jackie Burden. Police said the two white men approached the two black men and shot them dead with bullets to the head. Both Wright and Burmeister received life in prison for the killings.

The shooting at Towel Stadium of members of the 2nd Brigade of the 82nd Airborne Division. Maj. Stephen Mark Badger was killed and 18 other soldiers were wounded in the ambush attack
David Shannon

Joan Shannon, 35, and her 15-year-old daughter were charged with killing Maj. David Shannon.
The Special Operations soldier was shot to death while he slept in his home.
The 15-year-old showed no remorse at her stepfather's funeral and later admitted that she shot her father.
James Valentine

A Fort Bragg solider and her husband who died in an apparent murder-suicide have been identified as James Valentine and Ronna Valentine, Fayetteville police said.
Police found their bodies at their home at 27 Apt E. in the Cambridge Arms Apartments Saturday afternoon.

On January 3, 1987, he raped and attempted to murder Private Mary Ann Lang Nameth. Three days later, on January 6, he raped, sodomized, robbed, and murdered civilian Kimberly Ann Ruggles

Holley Wimunc

Victim
Wimunc, age 24, a 2nd Lt. at Fort Bragg, North Carolina was reported missing, and her off-base apartment had been torched in what appears to be an arson fire.
Police contacted the family on July 14, 2008 and told her parents that she was dead. Her husband Cpl. John Wimunc was arrested and charged with arson in connection with the crime.
